The Huawei Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master will be officially released on September 7. This is Huawei’s new generation of tri-fold flagship phone.

Today, He Gang, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, further introduced the appearance and design highlights of the Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master.

According to reports, the new phone inherits the iconic star diamond design, featuring a total of 33 star diamond facets, further enhancing the overall refinement and recognizability of the device.

At the same time,
Huawei also incorporated the traditional gold-woven brocade technique into the body design, creating a brand-new blue cloud pattern, which symbolizes “auspicious purple clouds coming from the east and soaring to new heights”, further integrating traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.

In terms of folding form, the Huawei Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master adopts a brand-new wing-shaped triple folding design, which can be unfolded outward from the left and right sides of the body.

Thanks to its symmetrical architecture, the new device has a more balanced weight distribution and is more comfortable to hold when fully unfolded.

It’s worth mentioning that the Huawei Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master, with its ultra-thin 3.5mm body, accommodates both internal and external screens for the first time.

When fully unfolded, the new phone remains the thinnest and largest foldable phone in the industry.

Currently, the Huawei Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master is available for pre-order on the Huawei Mall, offering three color options: Black, White, and Purple.

The standard version is available in two configurations: 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB. A version with a privacy screen is also available.
