According to a report released by IDC on October 27, Vivo’s main brand and sub-brands worked together to help it take the top spot in the domestic Q3 high-end Android market (priced above $600).

vivo has maintained a stable market performance thanks to its robust product competitiveness. Through multiple generations of product iterations, vivo has continued to cultivate the mobile imaging field and has established a solid reputation among users and market recognition.

The new flagship X500 series further solidifies its market position as a high-end imaging flagship. Based on its predecessor, the series adds a Pro Max version. The three new products aim for “dual excellence in photography and video experience” and fully implement vivo’s first technology system designed for dynamic imaging, namely the Blueprint Dynamic Imaging Technology Stack.

At the launch event, vivo Vice President and Product Vice President Huang Tao stated, “The professional ceiling of the X500 series must be high enough to become a productivity tool for creators; the threshold for mass user experience must be low enough so that ordinary people can easily shoot cinematic-looking videos.” This statement also summarizes the X500 series’ approach to balancing professional creation and mass user experience.

The vivo X500 Pro Max is the first to be equipped with the Blueprint 900 sensor, achieving a true output of 17EV ultra-high dynamic range; it is equipped with a Zeiss 200MP APO super telephoto lens, supporting an equivalent 400mm vivo Zeiss G2 Ultra teleconverter; it is the first in the industry to feature 4K 240fps cinematic slow motion and 8K native Live, among other leading imaging specifications.

In addition to the X500 series, the sub-brand iQOO precisely targets young e-sports enthusiasts, with the flagship iQOO 15 series continuing to sell well, and the new iQOO 16 also receiving market acclaim after its launch. In the mid-range market, the vivo S60 series performed better than its predecessor, helping vivo rank first in the $400 to $600 price segment and further consolidating its sales base.

In the high-end market, vivo’s differentiated breakthrough in both imaging and performance has enabled it to demonstrate stronger operational resilience and market competitiveness amidst industry cycle fluctuations.
