Xiaomi recently demonstrated the latest version of HyperOS 3 (known as Pengpai OS 3 in China) in advance through user surveys, and its interface innovation has attracted the attention of netizens.

Some media stated that this update not only reshaped the core design language of the system, but also marked Xiaomi’s strategic upgrade in building a high-end operating system.

It is reported that the interface design of Xiaomi HyperOS 3 is a bit like the visual style of iOS 18, and the icons and layout have been deeply optimized.

The new icon set, combined with a simpler interface layout, takes the overall experience to a higher level; to reduce visual interference, HyperOS 3 cancels the traditional search bar and instead strengthens the display of application icons and widgets.

This minimalist design is in line with the current mobile UI trend; the battery status display interface is similar to that of the iPhone, which facilitates the migration of potential iOS users; the newly added glass texture design enhances the system hierarchy and makes the interface more modern and technological.

It is speculated that Xiaomi HyperOS 3 will cover 96 devices, including 33 Xiaomi flagship models, 44 Redmi models and 19 POCO models.

Industry analysts predict that HyperOS 3 will be officially released in October 2025, based on the dual versions of Android 15 and 16.

The system will ensure the adaptation efficiency of different devices through intelligent distribution strategies.

The media believes that if battery efficiency and system fluency can be further improved, HyperOS 3 is expected to occupy a place in the highly competitive smart ecosystem.
