Turbo was derived from REDMI Note T, and its vision was to popularize flagship performance at an extremely fast speed. Extreme Edition originated from the “Supreme Commemorative Edition” and was created to commemorate enthusiast users who have always trusted Xiaomi’s performance genes.

According to information, Xiaomi first used the “Supreme Edition” name on the Xiaomi 10 Extreme Edition released in August 2020. Later, the Extreme Edition was added to the REDMI K series and became a separate product line.
