Fast Technology reported that the REDMI K100 will be officially released on October 27th. Today, the official announcement revealed that it is equipped with a 10000mAh super-large battery, has an ultra-high silicon-carbon content of 28%, an ultra-high energy density of 957Wh/L, and can still provide a stable high-performance experience at a low temperature of -20°C.

It is worth noting that this is also Xiaomi’s first phone with a 10000mAh battery, and also the most powerful Xiaomi Jinshajiang Battery to date, claiming to challenge the strongest battery life of flagship phones.

According to test data released by Lu Weibing, a partner at Xiaomi, the K100 leads its class in battery life across six high-frequency daily use scenarios: navigation, live streaming, short dramas, videos, music, and novels.

Specifically, the K100 can play over 29 hours of Douyin short videos, over 24 hours of Douyin live streams, over 47 hours of listening to soft music, over 18 hours of Gaode Map navigation, over 46 hours of reading novels, and watch 1000 episodes of short dramas.

In terms of other configurations, the K100 standard edition features a 6.83-inch 165Hz high refresh rate e-sports screen with 3500 nits of ultra-high brightness and Xiaomi Green Mountain Eye Protection 4.0. The touch supports a 480Hz multi-finger reporting rate and a 3500Hz instantaneous sampling rate. It is natively adapted to the 165fps mode of more than 40 games, and supports frame interpolation for full-speed gameplay in more than 100 games.

Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship chip and the first introduction of the D2 dedicated gaming graphics card, forming a “powerful dual-core” system, it further enhances gaming performance and visual presentation.

Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing previously stated that the REDMI K100 will fully inherit the Pro series’ all-around positioning, offering gaming experience on par with the Pro series, and its battery capacity will also reach a new high for the K series.

It comes pre-installed with Xiaomi’s Surge OS 4, so there’s no need to wait for an upgrade; you can enjoy a smooth experience right out of the box.
