Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that iQOO 15 has customized a Samsung 2K straight screen with a screen size of 6.85 inches, supports LTPO, is equipped with Pol-less depolarization technology, and has an AR anti-glare film.

He also revealed that the iQOO 15’s screen is the most expensive one among the flagship sub-series.

Compared with the previous generation iQOO 13, one of the changes in iQOO 15 is that the screen supplier has been changed from BOE to Samsung, and the polarizer has been removed.

It is understood that traditional OLED screens have retained the polarizers from the LCD era in order to eliminate the impact of ambient light reflection, but this will result in extremely high brightness loss and power consumption degradation.

The application of depolarization technology enables the iQOO 15 screen to further improve color, power consumption and eye protection experience, and solves the problem of light reflection of traditional OLED screens.

In addition, iQOO 15 is the first to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. This chip uses TSMC’s 3nm process and is TSMC’s latest third-generation 3nm process N3P. It is equipped with the second-generation self-developed Oryon CPU architecture, the GPU independent cache is upgraded to 16MB, and it integrates Adreno 840 GPU.

In terms of running points, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 GeekBench 6 single-core theoretical performance is set at 4000+, and the multi-core score is 11000+. This is the most powerful mobile Soc in the Android camp.
