Honor Magic8 Ultra receives network access certification: Honor’s most powerful imaging flagship.
Fast Technology reported that the Honor Magic8 Ultra received 3C certification today. Its model number is BKQ-AN20, and it supports 120W wired flash charging and Tiantong satellite communication.
According to a blogger on Digital Chat Station, the Honor Magic8 Ultra will be equipped with the OV50R sensor from OmniVision Technologies, making it the most powerful imaging flagship in Honor’s history.
It is reported that the OV50R CMOS has an ultra-high dynamic range of 110dB, which can provide extremely excellent low-light performance. In addition, this CMOS has 50 million pixels, a pixel size of 1.2 micrometers, and a sensor size of 1/1.3 inches, and is designed for high-end flagship devices.
Compared to its predecessor, the OV50R’s power consumption is reduced by approximately 20%, which significantly increases the duration of HDR video recording and allows for the capture of high-quality videos and photos anytime, anywhere.
It’s worth noting that the OV50R also supports 4-in-1 pixel binning, enabling output of 12.5-megapixel video at up to 120 frames per second and 4K video at 60 frames per second. It can also support video recording at up to 8K resolution. The autofocus experience is also excellent, supporting 100% coverage of quad phase detection (QPD) autofocus.
In addition, the OV50R is equipped with LOFIC technology, which can accurately record highlight information scenes and avoid overexposure.
