vivo OriginOS 6 December Update Announced: New 3D Space Wallpapers and Live Photos Feature for WeChat

Fast Technology reported that vivo officially announced details of the December update for OriginOS 6, which brings a large number of new features.

Among them, the “Shake to Share Groups” feature is now compatible with vivo and iQOO models running Android 13 and above. You can easily share all the photos you take at exhibitions or performances by simply opening the Share app and shaking your phone.

In terms of UI, a new 3D space wallpaper beta version has been added, which can instantly turn ordinary photos into naked-eye 3D effects, making the lock screen more vivid.

Since it is currently in beta, it only supports the X300 series and iQ0015 in December. The X200 series, iQ0013 and XFold5 will be rolled out later.

The official website also reminds users that in order to achieve a better 3D presentation, it is recommended to try different types of photos with clear subjects and clean backgrounds. The website will continue to optimize the user experience.

New lock screen widgets have also been launched, supporting QR code scanning, payment code, and transit code widgets, allowing users to access frequently used services with a single touch on the lock screen.

WeChat supports sending live photos in chats. Simply select “Live Photo” to send the photo, and your friend can open it to view the live photo and save it to their device.

vivo stated that the version was gradually rolled out starting December 4th and will be rolled out in batches throughout December.
