In March 2025, Huawei released the Pura X, the industry’s first foldable screen phone with a “wide fold” form factor.

Now, an iteration of the Huawei Pura X is in preparation, and a digital blogger has revealed the phone’s appearance and core configuration.

According to the leaked renders, the Huawei Pura X2 basically retains the body proportions of the Huawei Pura X, but the external screen size is significantly larger. The rear camera module adopts a horizontal design, including 3-4 cameras. The flash is separate from the lens module, and the back design is quite simple.

In terms of core configuration, the Huawei Pura X2 will be equipped with Huawei’s self-developed Kirin processor, with an inner screen size of 16:10, which exceeds 7 inches when unfolded. The rear camera can take photos with a maximum resolution of 200 million pixels, and the hinge adopts some of the same technology as the Huawei Mate X7.

It offers multiple versions including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, 16GB+1TB, 20GB+512GB, and 20GB+1TB, and runs Huawei HarmonyOS 6.1 operating system.

In contrast, the Huawei Pura X features a 6.3-inch inner screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 3.5-inch square outer screen with a 1:1 aspect ratio. It also has a triple rear camera setup (50MP main camera + 40MP ultra-wide-angle + 8MP telephoto) and supports the Red Maple Imaging System.

It has a built-in 4720mAh battery, supports 66W wired fast charging and 40W wireless fast charging, and has a starting price of 7499 yuan.
