Huawei will officially launch its new foldable phone, the Pura X2, this month. As the world’s first large-screen foldable phone, this new product will be released approximately six months earlier than its competitor, the Apple iPhone Fold.

According to multiple sources, the Huawei Pura X2’s design concept is more like a foldable MatePad mini. Its screen ratio is close to 16:10, which can significantly improve the software adaptation efficiency of the HarmonyOS system, providing users with a better immersive experience.

In terms of screen size, the Pura X2 strikes a fine balance. Its internal screen size is fixed at 7.69 inches, which is more portable than the MatePad mini’s 8.8 inches, while also ensuring a visually impactful display when unfolded.

In terms of industrial design, the phone adopts a highly recognizable horizontal camera module. The cameras and flash are arranged in a straight line, covering the main camera, telephoto lens, and ultra-wide-angle lens, and it is expected to be equipped with a unique red maple lens. All models will support optical image stabilization technology.

Furthermore, the Huawei Pura X2 features a 5.5-inch external screen, ensuring ease of one-handed operation. In terms of core specifications, the phone will be equipped with the Kirin 9030 series flagship chip and will come pre-installed with the latest HarmonyOS 6 operating system.

With its powerful hardware performance and innovative system ecosystem, the Pura X2 will become Huawei’s most powerful and mature foldable screen phone in history, once again demonstrating its profound technological accumulation in the field of foldable screens.
