In terms of pricing, the Reno16 12GB+256GB is priced at 2999 yuan, the 16GB+256GB at 3399 yuan, the 12GB+512GB at 3499 yuan, the 16GB+512GB at 3799 yuan, and the 16GB+1TB at 4399 yuan. All of these prices are after the national subsidy.

The Reno16 Pro 12GB+256GB is priced at 3999 yuan, the 12GB+512GB at 4399 yuan, and the 16GB+512GB at 4799 yuan. All of these prices are after the national subsidy.

This time, the OPPO Reno16 series has challenged the most difficult back cover manufacturing process to achieve since the Reno series was born—true 3D floating technology. According to the official introduction, the Reno series is the first to apply embedded micro-nano printing technology to consumer electronics products, directly pushing the naked-eye 3D experience that ordinary users can access to into an unprecedented 4.0 era.

The 3D floating planet on the back cover appears full and three-dimensional from any angle, as if surrounded by a cluster of tiny galaxies. Reportedly, the OPPO team tested hundreds of different process samples before finally selecting the one with the most stunning visual effect—a delicate, shimmering galaxy texture.

Meanwhile, the entire Reno16 series continues to use the industry-leading integrated cold-carved glass process. The lens module and the back cover are completely integrated. A single piece of glass hides all the exquisite details in a delicate touch. When your fingertips lightly glide across the surface of the back cover, the touch is as smooth as touching the first ray of soft light falling on the grass on a summer morning, like a dream.

Furthermore, the Reno16 series boasts impressive hardware features, including a standard metal frame and full IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K waterproof certifications. Both the front and back covers are made of high-strength reinforced glass, further enhancing the overall durability of the device.

In terms of imaging capabilities, the Reno16 series has upgraded its Live Photo feature once again, introducing the industry’s first Live Photo Sticker feature. Users can directly add various materials to Live Photos, including Live Photos and Live Cutout Elements, as well as doodles, outlines, text, and various fun stickers. The final edited Live Photo can be saved directly without transcoding or compression, maximizing its playability.

Meanwhile, the Reno16 series has further evolved the popular live photo collage feature from its predecessor, offering completely unrestricted collage direction and more flexible stitching logic. Users can freely select live or still photos to stitch together, and by selecting the “subject out of frame” feature, a visual effect is generated where the subject breaks out of the frame, making it highly recognizable on social media.

The Reno16 Pro version is the first to feature a 200-megapixel ultra-clear gimbal main camera, with a built-in gimbal device with a super-large anti-shake angle. The image stability when recording videos and live streaming in daily outdoor walking conditions is several times higher than that of a regular main camera.

The Reno16 Pro also supports a super-large angle intelligent correction function with up to 5 degrees of focal plane rotation, which can intelligently correct the level of the image when the user shoots at an angle. Even if you hold the phone up to shoot, there will be no problem with the image being tilted. Whether it is daily video recording or live streaming, the camera movement effect is natural and high-quality, with a full range of textures.

In addition, the OPPO Reno16 Pro is equipped with the new Natural Tone engine, which makes the live broadcast footage look like it comes straight from a professional camera. The tones are realistic, natural, clear and soft, completely eliminating the common problems of fake faces, over-sharpening and blurry images that are common in ordinary mobile phone live broadcasts.

After enabling the live streaming function, each frame simultaneously captures two images with different parameters. The short exposure frame prioritizes preserving details in bright areas to avoid overexposure and loss of information in highlights, while the long exposure frame specifically brightens dark areas and effectively reduces image noise. After the two images are merged and output in real time, the dynamic range of the image is greatly improved, and all details in both bright and dark areas are clearly visible, resulting in a cleaner and purer overall image.

Compared to the multi-frame capture HDR solution commonly used in traditional mobile phones, this dual-frame synchronous shooting method can significantly reduce image ghosting and motion blur, and can capture clear and stable images even in dynamic scenes.

In terms of hardware configuration, the OPPO Reno16 standard edition features a 6.32-inch 1.5K high refresh rate straight screen, a built-in Dimensity 8550 SUPER chip, a battery capacity of 6700mAh, a 50-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, and a complete triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

The OPPO Reno16 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K high refresh rate straight screen, a Dimensity 9500s flagship platform, and a 7000mAh battery. The rear camera setup includes a 200MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front-facing selfie camera is also 50MP, ensuring excellent all-scenario imaging performance.

The Reno16 series addresses almost all the core needs of young users, including aesthetics, feel, durability, imaging, and battery life. Each upgrade precisely hits the actual pain points of users, and it is likely to become a dark horse in the mid-range smartphone market this year.
