Samsung is about to launch a new smartphone Galaxy M55s in the Indian market. The device has appeared on the certification website of the Bureau of Indian Standards with model number SM-M558B/DS, which is consistent with the previous certification information on Geekbench and Wi-Fi Alliance.

Although there is no official confirmation yet, the BIS listing information suggests that the India launch of Galaxy M55s is just around the corner.

According to information from Geekbench, the Galaxy M55s is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, equipped with an Adreno 644 GPU and at least 8GB of RAM, pre-installed with Android 14 operating system, and support 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi .

The new phone may have many similarities with the Galaxy M55 released in India in April this year, which has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED Plus display with a brightness of up to 1000 nits.

The predecessor of the Galaxy M55s, the Galaxy M55 is also equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, supports up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, has a built-in 5000mAh battery, and supports 45W wired fast charging.

It is expected that the new M55s will be upgraded in these configurations and will be officially released in the next few weeks.
