According to the official Weibo of Red Magic gaming phone on October 31, the Red Magic 10 Pro series will be equipped with a new high-energy density battery, which has achieved a new breakthrough in technology. The official calls it a “perpetual motion machine” for battery life.

It is reported that the Red Magic 10 Pro series battery has reached 7000mAh, which is the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition model with the largest battery to date.

At present, the official has not disclosed the details of the Red Magic’s high-energy density battery technology. This battery is expected to use a new silicon-carbon negative electrode material.

It is understood that the theoretical specific capacity of graphite anode materials is only 372mAh/g, which is difficult to meet the market demand for large-capacity batteries. In contrast, the theoretical specific capacity of silicon materials is as high as 4200mAh/g, which has attracted great attention from the industry.

In addition, silicon has a high theoretical specific capacity and a relatively low lithium insertion potential, but its volume expansion during charging and discharging (up to 300%) can cause the material to become pulverized, seriously affecting the battery’s service life. Silicon-carbon composite negative electrode materials combine the advantages of silicon and carbon, optimizing material performance through the high conductivity of carbon and the high capacity characteristics of silicon.

In addition, the Red Magic 10 Pro series is the first to launch a new generation of true full-screen. This screen was jointly created by Red Magic and BOE. The two parties jointly developed the super COP packaging process. At the same time, it is also equipped with the industry’s most advanced SIP ultra-narrow bezel technology, making the Red Magic 10 Pro series the narrowest bezel in the industry.

The opportunity was officially released in November.
