Samsung is planning to launch the largest flagship mobile phone lineup in its history in 2025 to consolidate its leadership in the Android market and challenge Apple’s share in the high-end market.

It is reported that Samsung will launch nine new flagship phones next year, including the S25 series, Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, as well as a number of derivative models.

It is reported that Samsung will release the Galaxy S25 series in January next year, including three models: S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra.

In April, Samsung plans to launch a new S25 Slim ultra-thin model, which will directly compete with Apple’s iPhone 17 Slim.

In addition, Samsung also plans to launch a small folding phone, the Z Flip SE, which is positioned as affordable for the people. Its market positioning is still unclear and it may be a replacement or additional model for the Z Flip 7.

The Z Fold 7 series is also expected to have dual versions, but the specific details have not yet been announced; there are also reports that Samsung may launch a tri-fold mobile phone to counter Huawei’s Mate XT series; in the second half of the year, Samsung’s flagship lineup will also include the S25 FE.

If these plans are realized, Samsung’s flagship phone lineup in 2025 will set a record, covering multiple segments from light flagships to high-end flagships.

However, this news has not been officially confirmed by Samsung, and the final product lineup still needs to wait for the official release.
