In a recent information by a Twitter user, design schematics for the Apple iPhone 16 have been leaked, showcasing a return to the vertical dual-camera setup reminiscent of the iPhone X to iPhone 12 era. This design change is aimed at enhancing spatial video recording capabilities.

Moreover, the leaked design diagrams also highlight the addition of a new mechanical photo capture button on the iPhone 16. This button is designed to detect touch input and pressure changes, offering users a more intuitive and responsive photography experience.

Despite these updates, Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, has previously stated that the Apple iPhone 16 series is not expected to undergo any “significant design changes.” However, it will feature larger displays, measuring 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively.

Kuo anticipates that Apple will not introduce a significantly redesigned iPhone with more comprehensive and differentiated generative AI applications until at least 2025. It suggests that a new design and smarter AI features are likely to be seen in the iPhone 17 series next year.

Similarly, investment bank Barclays has predicted that the Apple iPhone 16 series may not present major changes or feature upgrades that significantly enhance its appeal.
