Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max hands-on: Thickness increased, battery enlarged

Overseas blogger Majin Bu brought the latest version of the iPhone 17 Pro Max model for hands-on, which was built based on the actual machine size leaked from the factory.
Given that the iPhone 17 series is about to start production, the current data is already very accurate.

Compared with its predecessor, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is obviously thicker, with a thickness of 8.725mm, while the thickness of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is 8.25mm.
According to leaks, the increased thickness of the new phone may provide space for a larger battery capacity to meet users’ demand for battery life.

In terms of appearance design, both the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max this year use a new large horizontal matrix module, which completely occupies the top of the body. The exaggerated rear camera shape is ridiculed as a tribute to the Xiaomi 11 Ultra.
It has been reported by multiple sources before that Apple will use a metal and glass back cover this year, taking into account both durability and environmental protection goals.
In addition, the increase in metal materials may also lead to a further increase in weight, which will bring considerable challenges to the feel.
Majin Bu had previously revealed that Apple plans to introduce a new “Sky Blue” color scheme in the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models.

The sky blue prototype presents extremely high brightness and exquisiteness, and the effect even surpasses the iPhone 13 Pro’s Far Peak Blue.
In terms of core configuration, the iPhone 17 Pro series will be equipped with an A19 Pro chip and upgraded to 12GB of memory. This will be the model with the largest memory in Apple’s history.
