Samsung is gearing up to introduce the Galaxy A25 5G, a successor to the Galaxy A24, with a series of enhancements in its design and features. Over the past few months, there have been leaks about the Galaxy A25 5G, and now, a new report has surfaced, revealing the complete specifications of the smartphone. The most notable upgrades are seen in its processor and one of the rear cameras.

The Galaxy A25 5G is expected to sport a 6.5-inch display, featuring a U-shaped notch and Full HD+ resolution, maintaining a similar screen size as its predecessor. While the exact type of screen is not yet confirmed, it is anticipated to be a 90Hz OLED unit, or possibly an even better variant, akin to the Galaxy A24. The device is set to include a triple-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it is likely to have a 13MP front-facing camera.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A25 5G is reported to be powered by the Exynos 1280 processor, a significant upgrade from the MediaTek Helio G99 used in the Galaxy A24. This new 5nm chip not only brings 5G connectivity to the smartphone but also includes two Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz. The processor is expected to be paired with options of 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. The phone is likely to run on Android 14-based One UI 6.0 right out of the box.

In terms of battery life, the Galaxy A25 5G is anticipated to come with a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 25W fast charging. The report also suggests that the Galaxy A25 5G will be available in four color variants: Black, Blue, Silver, and Yellow. The pricing for both storage versions of the phone is expected to fall within the €300-€400 range.
