Galaxy A25 5G New Leak Unveils More Details
Samsung is gearing up to introduce the Galaxy A25 5G, a successor to the Galaxy A24, with a series of enhancements in its design and features. The Galaxy A25 5G is expected to sport a 6.5-inch display, featuring a U-shaped notch and Full HD+ resolution, maintaining a similar screen size as its predecessor. While the exact type of screen is not yet confirmed, it is anticipated to be a 90Hz OLED unit, or possibly an even better variant, akin to the Galaxy A24. The device is set to include a triple-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it is likely to have a 13MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A25 5G is reported to be powered by the Exynos 1280 processor, a significant upgrade from the MediaTek Helio G99 used in the Galaxy A24. This new 5nm chip not only brings 5G connectivity to the smartphone but also includes two Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz. The processor is expected to be paired with options of 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. The phone is likely to run on Android 14-based One UI 6.0 right out of the box.
In terms of battery life, the Galaxy A25 5G is anticipated to come with a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 25W fast charging. The report also suggests that the Galaxy A25 5G will be available in four color variants: Black, Blue, Silver, and Yellow. The pricing for both storage versions of the phone is expected to fall within the €300-€400 range.
