Galaxy Z Fold7/Flip7 launch event scheduled for July 9

Samsung officially announced today that the Galaxy global new product launch will be held at 22:00 on July 9, and Samsung’s first lightweight and thin folding screen flagship will officially debut.
As usual, there are at least two new phones this time, namely Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.

Among them, the Galaxy Z Fold7 focuses on being ultra-light and thin. It is reported that it is 3.9mm when unfolded and about 8.9mm when folded.
However, the final official parameters are still uncertain at present, and it is unknown which one will become the world’s thinnest, the Honor Magic V5 or the 8.8mm Honor Magic V5.
It uses an 8.2-inch inner screen and a 6.5-inch outer screen. The inner screen uses under-screen camera technology, presenting a hole-free effect.
The core is equipped with a 4.47GHz high-frequency version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip, supplemented by 12GB of memory and Adreno 830 GPU.
Galaxy Z Flip7 adopts the “full screen” solution for the first time, equipped with a solution similar to Xiaomi MIX Flip. Except for the holes for the camera and flash, it is all screen, and most operations can be performed on the external screen.
The dimensions when unfolded are 166.6×75.2×6.9 mm, and the thickness including the camera bump is 9.1 mm.
The outer screen size has been expanded to 3.6 inches and the inner screen size has been expanded to 6.8 inches. In comparison, the outer screen size of the Galaxy Z Flip6 is 3.4 inches and the inner screen size is 6.7 inches.

It is worth noting that the phone may be the first to be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 flagship SoC, using a 3nm GAA process. The CPU uses a new 10-core (1+2+5+2) architecture, consisting of 1×3.3GHz Cortex-X925+2×2.75GHz Cortex-A725+5×2.36GHz Cortex-A725+2×1.8GHz Cortex-A520.
This combination is very similar to the recently released Xiaomi Xuanjie O1, but there are slight differences in details.

Xiaomi Xuanjie O1 is composed of 2×3.9GHz Cortex-X925+4×3.4GHz Cortex-A725+2×1.9GHz Cortex-A725+2×1.8GHz Cortex-A520.
Exynos 2500 has one more A725 core than Xuanjie O1, but one less X925 super core. Moreover, the frequency of super core and large core are lower than Xuanjie O1, and the running score data is also not as good as Xuanjie O1.
