Honor Magic V5 parameters released: Snapdragon 8 Elite support

Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed today that Honor Magic V5 will be the second Snapdragon 8 Elite large folding flagship this year.
The phone will be equipped with a 5950mAh battery, with a typical value of 6100mAh, support 66W wired charging, Beidou satellite SMS, and side fingerprint.

According to previous official information, Honor Magic V5 will be released in the first half of this year and is expected to debut in June.
Honor Magic V5 is still positioned as an ultra-light and thin folding phone. Li Kun, product manager of Honor’s terminal flagship mobile phone, once revealed that the new phone will once again become the industry’s lightest and thinnest folding screen.
It is reported that Honor launched the Magic V3 in July last year. It was the lightest and thinnest folding screen flagship at the time, with a folded thickness of only 9.2mm and a weight of only 226g.
Currently, the thinnest folding screen in the industry is the OPPO Find N5 released this year. It is only 8.93mm thick when folded and only 4.21mm when unfolded. It weighs 229g, which is already lighter and thinner than many super-large cup flagships.
It is expected that the Honor Magic V5 may reduce the thickness to below 8.9mm, greatly reducing the burden of carrying the folding screen.
The most important thing is that last year’s Honor Magic V3 also achieved IPX8 waterproofing, which is more reliable than candy-bar phones, and it is expected that the new product will also inherit this.
