Honor Magic9 series debuts Ari Movie Live: 3-second movie live stream with one click.
The Honor Magic9 series will be released on September 28, bringing three models: Magic9, Magic9 Pro Max, and Magic9 Super Edition.
Today, Honor continued to tease its new phone, announcing that the Honor Magic9 series will be the first in the industry to feature live streaming of Arri movies, boasting “one-click creation of a 3-second movie live stream”.
According to reports, ARRI Live Cinema supports 4K resolution and offers two aspect ratios: 2.39:1 cinematic aspect ratio and 16:9 classic aspect ratio. It also comes pre-installed with the full ARRI Cinema Look suite, bringing ARRI color science and cinematic aspect ratios to mobile phone live shooting.
According to the official teaser poster, this feature is only supported on the Honor Magic9 and Honor Magic9 Pro Max models.
In terms of imaging hardware, both models will be equipped with Honor’s self-developed imaging chip, the Yuguang H1, which is built using a 6nm process and supports lossless noise reduction for RAW domain video, improving the signal-to-noise ratio by 8dB.
In addition, the new camera will support ARRI color science, including AWG3 wide color gamut, APV lossless encoding, and ARRI LogC3 video pipeline, further enhancing its video shooting capabilities.
In terms of front camera, the Honor Magic9 and Honor Magic9 Pro Max will be equipped with a dynamic front-facing camera and adopt the first Android front-facing square frame solution, supporting exclusive 1:1 framing.
The front camera boasts 55 megapixels and a 92° ultra-wide field of view, providing greater framing options for selfies, group photos, and video recording.
In terms of ID design, the camera module of the Honor Magic9 series draws design inspiration from the ARRIFLEX series cinema cameras and incorporates the classic triple-lens turret structure into the back of the phone.
The three circular cameras are arranged in a 1+2 triangular pattern, which not only maintains the flagship’s distinctiveness but also further enhances the overall cinematic style of the device.
