Huawei Mate 80 GTS is here: powered by the most powerful Kirin SoC.

Fast Technology reported that Huawei Terminal previously announced that the Huawei Spring All-Scenario New Product Launch Conference is scheduled for March 23rd at 14:30. This conference will officially launch the new Enjoy 90 Pro Max and Enjoy 90 Plus. In addition to the Enjoy series, the highly anticipated new Huawei Mate series products are also expected to be unveiled on the same day.

According to multiple sources, a new member of the Huawei Mate 80 series will be officially launched this month. This new phone is expected to be named the Huawei Mate 80 GTS, and its core positioning is very clear: focusing on ultimate high performance to meet the needs of hardcore gamers.

In terms of core configuration, the Huawei Mate 80 GTS will be equipped with either the Kirin 9030 Pro or the more powerful Kirin 9030 Pro Enhanced Edition chip. To ensure sustained performance, the phone will also feature a rare built-in active cooling fan, a groundbreaking feature in Huawei’s mobile phone history.

With the powerful combination of the Kirin high-end chip and the active cooling system, the Huawei Mate 80 GTS is poised to become the most powerful HarmonyOS phone currently available. This physical-level cooling solution effectively addresses the issue of high-performance processors throttling under heavy loads, maintaining extremely high stability.

It is reported that the Kirin 9030 Pro uses a 9-core processor architecture, with the large cores reaching a clock speed of 2.75GHz. If the Mate 80 GTS is ultimately confirmed to be equipped with an enhanced chip, its CPU clock speed may be further increased, thus achieving a new leap in data processing and system response speed.

In terms of software ecosystem, the device will come pre-installed with the brand-new HarmonyOS 6 system. The new system features deeply optimized interaction logic and supports several user-friendly functions such as live view windows and tap-to-share. These features will significantly improve user efficiency and convenience in multitasking and cross-device collaboration.

This launch event will be Huawei’s most important technology showcase this spring. Whether it’s the Enjoy series aimed at the mass market or the Mate 80 GTS representing the exploration of peak performance, both demonstrate Huawei’s profound accumulation in hardware innovation and software ecosystem integration.
