Huawei Pura 80 series first release! Domestic one-inch SC5A0XS parameters exposed:

Blogger Dingjiao Digital revealed the information of SmartSens SC5A0XS sensor today, which is a domestically produced one-inch super-large sensor.
SC5A0XS has an ultra-large one-inch bottom, a single pixel size of 1.6μm, and a resolution of 50 million pixels. Its basic parameters are exactly the same as Sony IMX989 and LYT900.

It is worth noting that the SC5A0XS also has a terrifying 110dB dynamic range, far exceeding the two Sony products.
When the dynamic range is higher under the same configuration, the finished film can retain more details, enhance the layering of the picture, and restore colors more accurately.
For example, in typical high-light-contrast scenes (such as backlighting, indoor and outdoor scenes under direct strong light, etc.), sensors with low dynamic range are prone to overexposure of highlights and loss of details, or underexposure of dark areas and complete darkness.
High dynamic range can prevent bright areas from being overexposed and dark areas from being underexposed. For example, when shooting scenery at sunset, you can clearly show the layers of clouds around the sun while retaining the details of the scenery on the ground.
According to previous industry reports, Huawei’s Pura 80 series will most likely be the first to be equipped with SC5A0XS as the main camera. At that time, not only will the imaging effect be greatly improved, but the localization rate will also be further improved.
The Huawei Pura 80 series will be launched as early as this month, and its core will be equipped with the Kirin 9020, which uses the same packaging process as the Huawei Pura X.
