Huawei nova 14 series launch conference, some netizens photographed He Gang, CEO of Huawei Terminal BG, using a new mobile phone, suspected to be the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra.

Blogger Dingjiao Digital drew a rendering based on the exposed real machine spy photos. It can be seen that the Pura 80 Ultra uses a triangular camera module, and the module area is obviously larger than the previous generation.

According to leaks, the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is equipped with a domestically produced 50-megapixel 1-inch ultra-large main camera and a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch periscope telephoto sensor. Both sensors use RYYB array and support OIS optical image stabilization.

Among them, the 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch periscope telephoto is the largest in the industry , surpassing the Samsung HP9 commonly used in Android imaging flagships, which is 1/1.4 inches in size.

In addition, the main camera of Huawei Pura 80 Ultra also uses LOFIC technology. Its basic principle is to place a high-density capacitor on each photodiode of the mobile phone’s image sensor to collect photoelectrons that might have overflowed due to saturation.

When the number of photoelectrons converted by the photodiode exceeds the maximum limit it can carry, the excess photoelectrons will flow into the adjacent capacitor. This allows the sensor to better retain the highlight information in the shooting scene, making the output film closer to the real light and shadow scene without overexposure.

In short, Huawei Pura 80 Ultra will be Huawei’s most powerful imaging flagship, and the new product will be launched in June.
