Huawei Pura 90 Pro officially released: debuting with Kirin 9030S processor.

Fast Technology reported that Huawei held a launch event for its Pura series and all-scenario new products this afternoon, where the Huawei Pura 90 Pro was unveiled.

The Huawei Pura 90 Pro features a simple and sleek straight-edge design with clean lines. The rear camera module adopts a symmetrical layout along the central axis and is complemented by an exquisite decorative ring.

The device comes in four colors: Mulberry Black, Coconut White, Orange Soda, and Pink Guava. The back cover is made of aluminosilicate glass, and the frame is made of aluminum alloy. The device weighs approximately 213.5 grams and is 8.2 mm thick.

The front features a 6.6-inch OLED flat screen with a resolution of 2760×1256 (FHD+), supporting a 1–120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate, providing a smooth and responsive display.

The screen is covered with second-generation Kunlun glass, supports P3 wide color gamut and 1.07 billion color display, and takes into account scratch resistance, wear resistance and visual quality. The whole machine supports IP68+IP69 dust and water resistance.

In terms of core configuration, the Pura 90 Pro is equipped with the Kirin 9030S processor, which improves NPU image understanding capabilities by 200%, AI color engine computing power by 43%, telephoto video clarity by 110%, and telephoto image stabilization accuracy by 30%. Overall performance is 25% higher than that of the Pura 80 Ultra.

The system runs HarmonyOS 6.1 and supports features such as SuperTerminal, multi-screen collaboration, two-way Beidou satellite messaging, AI call translation/summary, smart payment, face recognition with masks, and low-power emergency mode. It has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of smoothness, privacy and security, and cross-device collaboration.

In terms of imaging, the Pura 90 Pro features a quad-camera setup with XMAGE technology covering all focal lengths, combined with second-generation red maple primary color imaging for more accurate color reproduction.

50MP ultra-light-focusing main camera: F1.4–F4.0 ten-stop physical variable aperture, supports OIS optical image stabilization;

12.5MP ultra-wide-angle lens: F2.2 aperture, suitable for landscapes and group photos;

50MP super-focus macro telephoto lens: F2.1 aperture, OIS optical image stabilization, supports telephoto macro and 4x optical zoom, up to 100x digital zoom;

The second-generation Red Maple Original Color Camera: improves color accuracy, and makes light and shadow and skin tones more natural.

The front camera features a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an F2.0 aperture, supporting autofocus and AI portrait optimization.

The device supports professional features such as XMAGE intelligent shooting, AI-assisted composition, super night scene, macro video, video HDR Vivid, movie effects, and RAW format shooting. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.

In terms of battery life, the Pura 90 Pro has a built-in 6000mAh high-capacity battery, supports 66W wired super fast charging + 50W wireless super fast charging, and supports 18W wired reverse charging and wireless reverse charging.
