Blogger Dingjiao Digital revealed that Huawei’s Pura 80 series will be upgraded to a dual-layer OLED, which will be Huawei’s most powerful mobile phone screen.

Previously, Huawei Mate 70 RS used a dual-layer OLED screen. Because the cost of this screen is extremely high, it is expected that the Pura 80 series Ultra will exclusively use the dual-layer OLED.

It is reported that double-layer OLED is a new display technology, whose structure includes two independent OLED layers, which are composed of different luminescent materials and can emit light by themselves under specific current drive, avoiding the use of traditional backlight sources, thereby effectively improving screen brightness and image quality. Compared with traditional single-layer OLED displays, double-layer OLED has significantly improved display brightness, color saturation and contrast.

Taking Huawei Mate 70 RS as an example, the double-layer OLED display technology superimposes two layers of OLED materials to make the peak brightness of the screen reach 3500nits. Compared with traditional OLED screens, this brightness is increased several times. The high-brightness double-layer OLED screen allows users to clearly see the screen content even in direct sunlight, enhancing the outdoor readability of the screen.

In terms of imaging, according to reports, the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra engineering machine is equipped with a domestically developed 1-inch ultra-large main camera, and a 1/1.3-inch ultra-large periscope telephoto lens. Both the main camera and the periscope telephoto lens use RYYB color array and support variable aperture.

In addition, the Huawei Pura 80 series is equipped with a new native Hongmeng system. The system uses the Hongmeng kernel and achieves full-stack self-research. The new product will be launched in Q2 this year, which is worth looking forward to.
