Apple officially announced early this morning that the 36th Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held from June 10th to 14th, Beijing time.

This time it will still be mainly online and open to developers around the world for free.

Apple will hold a keynote speech on June 10 to release the next-generation operating system, including iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, etc.

It is worth noting that after several generations of slow updates, iOS 19 will usher in major changes. It is reported that Apple plans to comprehensively upgrade iOS 19 icons, menus, apps, windows, and system buttons, and simplify navigation and user operations.

These changes are not just adjustments to the design language and visual style, but a large-scale system overhaul, which is considered to be the biggest change Apple has made since iOS 7.

It is reported that iOS 19 will borrow the design style of visionOS, which uses rounded app icons with a lot of translucent effects.

In addition, the news also mentioned that all devices capable of running iOS 18 can be upgraded to iOS 19, including the iPhone XR and iPhone XS series.
