iQOO Neo12 is the world’s first to feature a 2K+185Hz high refresh rate screen:
Fast Technology reported that blogger Digital Chat Station hinted that the iQOO Neo12 will be the first to feature a 2K+ 185Hz high refresh rate, high-resolution screen manufactured by Visionox. This screen is based on the fourth-generation pTSF light-emitting technology, achieving breakthroughs in brightness, lifespan, and display effect. The new product will officially debut in October.
It is understood that pTSF, short for phosphorescently assisted thermally activated sensitized fluorescence, was jointly developed by Visionox and Tsinghua University. Data shows that screens equipped with high-efficiency pTSF technology experience a more than 12% reduction in power consumption and a 15% increase in lifespan.

Furthermore, the wide color gamut pTSF technology expands the color gamut from the traditional DCI-P3 standard to the broader Adobe and BT.2020 standards, achieving professional design-grade color accuracy while reducing power consumption by more than 6% and increasing lifespan by 20%. This means that consumers will have screens with longer battery life, more accurate colors, and greater durability.
In terms of hardware configuration, the iQOO Neo12 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship platform. This chip is built on an advanced 3nm process and integrates innovative technologies such as a custom third-generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU, a newly designed Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and an enhanced Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, with a maximum CPU frequency of 4.6Hz.
Its single-core performance is improved by 20%, multi-core performance by 17%, response speed by 32%, and energy efficiency by up to 35%, making its performance still powerful today.
In addition, the iQOO Neo12 features a built-in discrete graphics chip and supports ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint recognition. This time, the iQOO’s self-developed discrete graphics chip supports super-resolution and super-frame rate enhancement, which can elevate game visuals to near PC-level detail while doubling the frame rate, delivering a smoother visual experience and achieving superior clarity and fluidity.
