Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the frequency of MediaTek Dimensity 9500 has been increased again, and the cache has been upgraded to 16MB. The latest round of sample running points is set to more than 4 million points, which puts pressure on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.

It is reported that the Dimensity 9500 is manufactured based on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process N3P. The CPU consists of 1*Travis+3*Alto+4*Gelas, and integrates the Immortalis-Drage GPU. Among them, Travis and Alto are Arm’s new generation X9 series super cores, supporting the SME instruction set, and Gelas is the new A7 series large core.

Compared with the previous generation Dimensity 9400, the Dimensity 9500 has abandoned the Arm Cortex-X4 series core, and all the super-large cores have been upgraded to the Cortex-X9 series. At the same time, it has been upgraded to TSMC’s N3P process, and its performance and energy efficiency will be greatly upgraded.

This processor will be unveiled as early as September. It will compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and Apple A19 Pro. The first models equipped with Dimensity 9500 include vivo X300 series, OPPO Find X9 series and Honor Magic8 series, which are worth looking forward to.
