According to feedback from Xiaomi users, the Xiaomi Surge OS experience enhanced version Beta has begun to be pushed, according to Fast Technology on September 23.

This version is a special branch version that is completely independent of the main version of Xiaomi Pengpai OS. It is a “test field” specially opened to continue the basic experience and conduct in-depth underlying optimization. It also has multiple update plans for experience optimization in different fields.

Once the technical verification is fully completed, some of the leading capabilities will be gradually incorporated into the mainline version of Surge OS.

According to Zhang Guoquan, director of Xiaomi’s mobile phone system software department, the first Beta version push is mainly aimed at bringing more natural system animations and focusing on optimizing the power consumption of single frames of games.

Because it involves deep integration with hardware, the pilot models currently include Xiaomi 14, Redmi K60 Extreme Edition and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.

Officials said that Xiaomi Pengpai OS Experience Enhanced Edition Beta may be unstable and requires certain flashing knowledge and problem-solving skills, and is not recommended for ordinary users to participate.
