Today, the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer’s Edition was released, starting at a price of 4599 yuan, or 4099 yuan in China after government subsidies. The new device offers two color options: “Molten Gold” and “Twilight”, inspired by classic camera designs. It is equipped with a physical mechanical shutter button: half-press for focusing, long-press for shooting.

The Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer’s Edition features a 50-megapixel “Light and Shadow Master 990” sensor manufactured by Omnivision in China, along with fifth-generation native 35mm high-end optics. It is claimed that the image quality “surpasses one inch sensor.”

At the same time, it is equipped with a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera, achieving full focal length coverage.

One graphic to understand the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer’s Edition: the 35mm main camera’s image quality surpasses that of a one-inch sensor. Nubia has also introduced a professional photography kit for the new model, priced at 899 yuan. It features a classic retro design and mechanical operation feel, offering a 1/4-inch screw interface for tripod mounting, a T-mount adapter for various lenses, a 67mm filter adapter ring, and a cold shoe interface for additional accessories.

The Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer’s Edition is equipped with a 6.85-inch true full-screen display without any openings, made with BOE’s seventh-generation Q9+ material. It supports a refresh rate of 144Hz and high-frequency PWM dimming at 2592Hz.

Regarding overall configuration, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Edition processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It contains a built-in 6600mAh “South Sea” battery, supports 80W fast charging, and offers IP68 & IP69 dust and water resistance.
