OPPO Reno17 series launches two powerful products simultaneously:
The OPPO Reno17 series will be officially released this month. The launch event will feature two models, the Reno17 and Reno17 Pro, endorsed by Song Yuqi.
According to leaks, the standard Reno17 features a 6.5-inch mid-size screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen4 chip, and an 8000mAh battery; the Reno17 Pro features a 6.3-inch small screen, a Dimensity 8550 SUPER processor, and a 7200mAh battery.
In terms of imaging, both models will come standard with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and support 4K ultra-high-definition live video recording across all focal lengths. Notably, OPPO has extended the live video recording time from 3 seconds to 6 seconds for the first time, allowing live photos to capture a more complete process.
An OPPO product manager stated that 6 seconds is exactly the length of a lyric, which can not only capture the complete highlight of the stage, but also help users record more and more complete “stories” in their lives, and keep every frame clear.
Compared to traditional still photos, live photos can capture the “before and after” moments of a scene together, creating a more atmospheric effect than a single photo. A friend’s laughter, a few seconds of a concert light sweeping across the room, or a pet suddenly turning its head can all be easily recorded.
For young users who are used to taking photos on the go and sharing them instantly, Live Photos make taking and sharing easier. In terms of social expression, Live Photos are more vivid than still images, and without the editing and time constraints of videos, they are suitable for posting on WeChat Moments and Xiaohongshu. They can show the picture, as well as convey sound and action, making the expression more authentic and more personal.
