Samsung Galaxy S27 series receives network access certification.
Fast Technology reported that the Samsung Galaxy S27 series has officially received network access licenses. The models approved are the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+, with model numbers SM-S9520 and SM-S9560 respectively. These two models support 25W fast charging and 45W fast charging respectively.
This configuration quickly sparked widespread discussion. Currently, major domestic brands are accelerating breakthroughs in core configurations such as fast charging and battery life. However, the Samsung Galaxy S27, as the family’s basic flagship, has not shown any breakthrough performance. Instead, it continues the relatively conservative product strategy of its predecessor.

Data shows that starting with the Galaxy S20 series, Samsung’s standard models have maintained a stable 25W fast charging power, while the Plus and Ultra versions have maintained a 45W fast charging power (Note from Fast Technology: Galaxy S26 Ultra supports 60W fast charging, a slight upgrade).
In terms of the widespread adoption of fast charging technology, domestic mobile phone manufacturers have taken a commanding lead. SuperVOOC flash charging is now standard on most domestic mid-range phones, with high-end models generally reaching around 100W, while Samsung’s Galaxy flagship standard edition still uses 25W wired fast charging.
The core advantage of fast charging lies in its rapid replenishment of power. In fragmented charging scenarios, a phone can quickly regain full charge during short breaks like washing up or eating. While 100W fast charging has become standard on domestic flagship phones, Samsung remains at a level from five years ago, which undoubtedly weakens its product competitiveness to some extent.
In terms of core configuration, the Samsung Galaxy S27 series will be among the first to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra platform, and may also be equipped with a Samsung-customized Snapdragon 8 Ultra for Galaxy version.
This chip is manufactured using TSMC’s 2nm process and features Qualcomm’s proprietary Oryon CPU, making it the industry’s first mobile CPU with a maximum clock speed of 5GHz. Whether launching applications, playing demanding games, creating content, or multitasking, it delivers a fast response and a smooth experience.
The aircraft is expected to be officially unveiled in the first half of next year.
