Last September, Huawei Mate XT Master came out and became the first tri-fold screen mobile phone in the history of the mobile phone industry.

As of now, it is still the only tri-fold on the market.

It is worth noting that according to blogger Dingjiao Digital, Samsung’s first tri-fold smartphone will soon be mass-produced and is expected to be released in October this year.

The phone has recently obtained 3C certification in the country, model number is SM-F9680, and supports 25W charging.

According to previous leaks, Samsung’s first three-fold screen may be named Galaxy G Fold. It adopts a G-shaped folding solution. The screen is divided into three parts. The left and right screens both fold towards the middle screen, which is significantly different from the Z-shaped folding method of Huawei Mate XT.

After being folded, the G-shaped solution can protect the screen inside the body, which is relatively safer and more stable.

However, this solution also has natural disadvantages: an additional external screen is required to assist in daily use, and the thickness is expected to be significantly greater than that of Huawei Mate XT.

It is worth noting that the leak also stated that the Galaxy G Fold will be sold in limited quantities and will only be sold in South Korea and China.

In terms of price, the starting price of Huawei Mate XT is 19,999 yuan, and it is expected that the price of Samsung’s three-fold screen will exceed 20,000 yuan.
