The first foldable iPhone will be released next year with two key advantages: screen and hinge

There have been a lot of leaks about Apple in the past two days, including the long-rumored foldable screen iPhone, which is said to be released in 2026.
Recently, well-known technology reporter Mark Gurman said that compared with other foldable screen phones, the foldable iPhone will have two key advantages.
First of all, when the foldable iPhone is unfolded, the folding marks will be almost invisible, which means that the rumored 7.8-inch to 8-inch inner screen of the phone will adopt a more seamless design.
“Apple is hoping that by reducing the crease when the phone is unfolded, it will differentiate itself from the competition,” Gurman said.

Secondly,
the foldable iPhone will be equipped with a higher quality hinge. Although Gurman did not elaborate, Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that the hinge will be made of a mixture of titanium and stainless steel.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the inner screen of the foldable iPhone is expected to be 7.8 inches, the outer screen is 5.5 inches, with dual rear cameras and a front camera.
In addition, the foldable iPhone will use a Touch ID power button instead of Face ID and have a built-in high-density battery.
Guo Mingchi estimates that the thickness of the phone will be 4.5 mm when unfolded and between 9 mm and 9.5 mm when folded.
