The world’s thinnest foldable screen is here! OPPO Find N5 series joins the network

Two new OPPO phones have been connected to the network, with an 80W charging head as standard, and one of them supports satellite communications.
According to recent product announcements, this should be the OPPO Find N5 series, and the high-end version supports satellite communications.

The phone will be released in February and will be the first foldable screen phone in 2025. It will also be the world’s thinnest foldable screen flagship.
OPPO’s Zhou Yibao also published an article today summarizing the highlights of the new phone:
1. The world’s thinnest foldable flagship;
2. The world’s first folding screen equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition;
3. The world’s first folding flagship that supports IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 full-level waterproofing;
4. The first use of reliable and strong “3D printed titanium alloy hinge”;
5. The only folding flagship with straight screen design in China;
6. Support 50W wireless charging and reverse charging.

It is reported that OPPO Find N5 uses titanium metal material for the first time and is completed through 3D printing process. The thickness of one side is about 4mm, and the thickness in the folded state is less than 9.2mm. It is the thinnest folding screen flagship to date.
The most important thing is that it also supports 50W wireless fast charging while keeping the thickness under control. The official promise is that “all Find series models will be equipped with wireless charging as standard in the future.”
It is reported that OPPO Find N5 uses an ultra-thin customized wireless charging coil with a thickness of only 0.18mm, which is thinner than the conventional 0.3mm wireless charging coil.
After actual testing, the folding screen can seamlessly support wireless charging of many cars such as BYD, NIO, Zeekr, Tank, and Lantu, making it convenient for car owners to recharge at any time.
In terms of core configuration, OPPO Find N5 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor. It is the industry’s first Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition large folding screen, with a rear 50-megapixel Hasselblad triple camera, including main camera, ultra-wide-angle and periscope telephoto.
