The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, set to be the world’s first folding screen smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, has had its pricing details leaked ahead of its official release on March 26. According to a PPT image circulated on social media platforms, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at 13,999 yuan, while the variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is set at 14,999 yuan.
If these prices are accurate, it represents a significant increase of 5,000 yuan compared to the previous generation. For context, the X Fold 2 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage was priced at 8,999 yuan, and the 12GB RAM plus 512GB storage version was at 9,999 yuan.
In terms of specifications, the standard version of the X Fold 3 series will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 platform, while the Pro version will boast the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 platform, marking it as the first large folding screen phone globally to utilize this chipset.
Photographically, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is equipped with a 50 million pixel ultra-large base main camera, a 50 million pixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64 million pixel periscope telephoto lens. It supports long-focus macro shooting, OIS optical stabilization, and can record 4K 60fps videos.
