Foreign media recently revealed some parameters of vivo X Fold5. Overall, the configuration of this new phone is comparable to vivo X Fold 3 Pro.

The vivo X Fold5 is equipped with a 6.53-inch LTPO external screen and an 8.03-inch AMOLED internal screen, both of which support a 120Hz refresh rate, providing users with a smooth visual experience.

In terms of performance, the phone is equipped with Qualcomm’s top chip Snapdragon 8Gen3 in 2023, which is consistent with last year’s vivo X Fold 3 Pro, with a built-in maximum of 16GB RAM and 512GB ROM .

In terms of battery life, the battery capacity of vivo X Fold5 has been increased from 5500mAh to 6000mAh, which is larger than X Fold3 Pro and is the folding screen phone with the largest battery capacity on the market . It also supports 90W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging, and has no shortcomings in terms of charging and battery life.

In terms of imaging, the outer screen and the inner screen each have a 32-megapixel selfie lens. The rear triple-camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom, and its telephoto capability exceeds that of the X Fold 3 Pro.

In addition, the design of vivo X Fold5 pursues extreme lightness and thinness. When unfolded, the thickness is only 4.3mm, and when folded, it is 9.33mm, making it one of the thinnest foldable screen mobile phones on the market.

However, in terms of biometrics, the X Fold 5 uses side fingerprint recognition, which is different from the higher-end X Fold 5 Pro’s internal and external dual 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition.
