Fast Technology reported that during a media interview at the previous vivo X500 series new product launch event, vivo’s Vice President of Product, Huang Tao, revealed that the vivo X500 Ultra will undergo normal iterations, and the new product will be officially launched in March or April next year, mainly targeting professional creators.

This afternoon, the blogger Digital Chat Station revealed key specifications of the vivo X500 Ultra. The phone will feature a 6.85-inch 2K 144Hz LTPO flat screen supplied by BOE, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Super Ultimate flagship platform (hereinafter referred to as Snapdragon 8EE6), and will support 3D ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanning.

Compared to the Pro Max, one of the biggest upgrades of the vivo X500 Ultra is the upgrade of its chip platform from Dimensity to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8EE6. This is Qualcomm’s first 2nm chip and also the most powerful mobile chip in the Android camp.

In terms of CPU, the Snapdragon 8EE6 features a custom Oryon architecture with a 2+3+3 octa-core design and a super core clock speed exceeding 5GHz. This is the industry’s first mobile CPU to break the 5GHz barrier, offering a 13% performance improvement and a 37% energy efficiency improvement over its predecessor, while also further optimizing task scheduling and data access efficiency.

In addition to being powered by the most powerful Snapdragon platform, the vivo X500 Ultra will also boast imaging capabilities comparable to Thanos. However, specific details are currently unknown.

For reference, in March of this year, the vivo X300 Ultra was equipped with a professional imaging system, featuring an 85mm Zeiss super telephoto lens. It uses the HP0 sensor jointly developed by vivo and Samsung, and for the first time achieved 3-degree micro-gimbal-level optical image stabilization at the telephoto end, reaching the CIPA 7.0 professional-grade image stabilization standard.

With its 3+2 Zeiss master lens array, the vivo X300 Ultra covers the entire focal length range from 14mm ultra-wide-angle to 400mm super telephoto, and supports direct output of ultra-high-resolution photos across all focal lengths. As an iterative flagship, the X500 Ultra’s imaging capabilities are highly anticipated.
