Samsung is launching its first Android tri-fold screen phone in December, aiming to compete with Huawei.
Blogger iIce Universe revealed that Samsung will release a tri-fold folding screen on December 5, with a 6.5-inch outer screen, a 10-inch inner screen, a thickness of 4.2mm when unfolded, 14mm when folded, and a 5600mAh battery.
This is the first Android phone with a triple-folding screen, expected to be named Galaxy Z TriFold. The phone adopts a G-shaped folding design, with its two screens folding towards the middle, which is completely different from the S-shaped folding design of the Huawei Mate XTs.
Samsung previously showcased the Galaxy Z TriFold, which features a dual-hinge design and unfolds to resemble a tablet, making it suitable for light office work.

Both its inner and outer screens are equipped with a front-facing camera, and it has three rear cameras, with the lens module arrangement being consistent with its own Galaxy Z Fold7.
The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship platform, which is the most powerful triple-folding screen flagship in the industry. The new product will be launched in a few markets such as China, South Korea, and Singapore, and the price may exceed 20,000 yuan.
