Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra has been the center of many rumors, particularly about its battery capacity. Some reports suggested that the new S26 Ultra would come with a bigger battery than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which currently has a 5,000 mAh battery. However, other sources claimed that the battery size would remain the same. A recent leak from China seems to suggest that the S26 Ultra could feature a slightly bigger battery than the earlier model.

According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to come with a 5,200 mAh battery. While this isn’t a major increase, it is slightly higher than the batteries found in previous Ultra models which consistently offered 5,000 mAh. Even a small upgrade like this can make a noticeable difference for users who rely on their phones throughout the day.

It should be noted that this claim differs from a Chinese certification released in August, which indicated the Galaxy S26 Ultra would feature a battery with a rated capacity of 4,855 mAh. This would give it a typical capacity of about 5,000 mAh. As a result, the actual battery size remains uncertain, and we’ll need to rely on more sources to confirm the true specifications.

When it comes to charging, earlier reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could support faster speeds than its predecessor with up to 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. In contrast, the current S25 Ultra supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. The S25 Ultra is available in several storage configurations:  256GB model with 12GB RAM priced at $949.99 or €890 and a 512GB model with 12GB RAM for $1,069.99 or €974.65. The increase in charging speed could make the S26 Ultra much more convenient for users who rely on their phones heavily throughout the day.
