Improved Lens on Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Designed to Deliver Flare-Free Images
There have been several rumors going around about the camera system on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the latest information from China, Samsung is expected to address some of the problems that have been reported with the camera of this new flagship phone.
A popular tipster called Ice Universe recently posted something on Weibo. The original post is in Chinese, and after using a machine translator to convert it into English, it suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s camera system will experience reduced lens flare.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature improved lens and coating technology. Thanks to these enhancements, photos taken with the camera should no longer produce yellowish skin tones, resulting in more accurate colors.

Earlier rumors suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with a 12-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, which is expected to use the Sony IMX874 sensor. On the rear, the phone is expected to feature four cameras: the main camera will have 200 megapixels and use the ISOCELL HP2 sensor for high-resolution shots; a 50MP ultrawide camera powered by the Samsung JN3 sensor for capturing wider scenes; a 50MP periscope telephoto camera using the IMX854 sensor for zoomed-in shots; and a 12MP telephoto camera with the Samsung S5K3LD sensor for additional telephoto functionality.

The HP2 sensor, which is expected to be used in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, is the same sensor that Samsung used for the primary camera on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The difference between the two cameras is in the aperture size. The S25 Ultra’s main camera had an f/1.7 aperture , while the S26 Ultra’s main camera is expected to have a wider f/1.4 aperture. A larger aperture allows the camera to capture more light, resulting in brighter and clearer photos, especially in low light conditions.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in different storage and memory configurations. The model with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM is priced at $849.99, with another deal listed at $905.00. Meanwhile, the version with 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM is available for $849.99 in one deal, and €1,006.00 in another.
