At the top of Poco’s smartphone portfolio the Poco F8 Ultra offers impressive performance across all key areas all at a more accessible price point than most flagship devices. Many enthusiasts may be curious about what lies beneath the surface especially regarding the built in subwoofer. PBKreviews has conducted an in depth teardown and the video clearly demonstrates the internal components while uncovering some fascinating discoveries about the device’s design.

When it comes to repairability previous Poco F series phones have often faced criticism for being difficult to fix. With the Poco F8 Ultra there are noticeable improvements making certain repairs a bit more manage ward. The internal components are stacked and there is a lot of adhesive which makes opening and fixing the phone more challenging.

In terms of build quality the Poco F8 Ultra does not introduce anything particularly unusual or groundbreaking. The central aluminum frame has been reinforced on the inside which adds strength and stability to the phone’s structure. The region surrounding the camera island is also strengthened which helps protect the cameras and contributes to the overall robustness of the device.

Regarding its placement, the subwoofer is located directly underneath the camera bump, ensuring that the audio output is integrated neatly into the device’s design.Unfortunately accessing the battery is not straightforward. It sits underneath a complex arrangement of internal parts meaning that any attempt to replace or service it requires careful disassembly.

Lastly, the teardown footage highlights the presence of thermal pads and copper shielding layers surrounding the SoC and the battery. Essentially this is a standard setup and represents the usual engineering approach rather than anything out of the ordinary.
