Recently, there has been growing discussion and speculation surrounding the range of color options. Samsung might introduce for its upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup with particular attention being paid to the Galaxy S26 Ultra model and the finishes it may be available in.

A fresh leak has provided insight into several of the color options that may be offered with the device, along with clues about which shade may ultimately be positioned as the primary or hero color in Samsung’s marketing efforts.

Orange Isn’t as Prominent as You Think

The hero color is the shade that Samsung primarily features across all of the device’s marketing materials. Samsung chooses a single hero color for its flagship smartphone every year and builds much of its branding and advertising around it.

Initial report suggested that Samsung was considering a bold orange color for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, similar to the orange shade offered on Apple’s newest iPhone models. However, a recent leak focusing on the Galaxy S26 series colors did not show any sign of an orange variant being included.

Another tipster on X has claimed that Samsung plans to position Violet as the hero color for the device. Rather than being loud or eye catching, the color is said to be more refined and visually pleasing, possibly making it a better fit for attracting a broader audience.

The tipster claims that orange does not appear to be included among the primary color options, suggesting that Samsung may choose to limit its availability. In that case, the orange variant could be offered exclusively on Samsung.com.

The post also mentions some additional details about the device, although most of these have been circulating for quite some time. Specifically, it mentions a 4,300mAh battery for the standard Galaxy S26, a 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging on the Galaxy S26+ and the Galaxy S26 Ultra retaining its 5,000mAh battery but now featuring upgraded 60W fast charging capabilities.
