Huawei Mate X7’s latest sales have exceeded 600,000 units.
blogger “RD Observation” recently published an article stating that as of the 9th week of 2026, Huawei’s Mate X7 series foldable phones had shipped 605,400 units.
The Huawei Mate X7 series will be released in November 2025 and will be Huawei’s flagship product in the field of foldable screen phones.
In terms of performance, the Huawei Mate X7 is equipped with HarmonyOS 6, offering a 42% performance improvement over its predecessor. It features a 20GB + 1TB custom storage version and a 40% improvement in background activity management.
It also boasts a 3600mm² ultra-large VC graphene cooling system. The collector’s edition includes a 5600mAh battery, supporting 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The 66W wired fast charging can charge the phone to 80% in 30 minutes, while the 50W wireless fast charging can fully charge it in 45 minutes.
In terms of imaging, the phone is equipped with the second-generation Red Maple Imaging System, featuring a rear-facing 50-megapixel RYYB main camera, a 40-megapixel RYYB ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel RYYB periscope telephoto lens that supports 3.5x optical zoom.
The standard version features a 1/1.56-inch main camera sensor with a 10-stop physical variable aperture from F1.4 to F4.0. The collector’s edition upgrades to a 1/1.28-inch large sensor and exclusively features ultra-high dynamic range video technology, combined with the ninth-generation ISP platform, achieving up to 21 times the dynamic range improvement.
In addition, the device supports features such as hover shooting, waist-level framing, and multiple shots in one shot, along with AI-assisted composition.
In terms of screen configuration, the Huawei Mate X7 adopts a dual-screen combination of a 6.49-inch external screen and an 8-inch foldable internal screen. Both support a 1-120Hz LTPO 2.0 adaptive refresh rate, with peak brightness reaching 3000 nits and 2500 nits respectively. The internal screen has a resolution of up to 2416×2210.
