The Red Magic 11S Pro series will be officially released on May 18. Today, product manager Jiang Chao shared an unboxing video of the Red Magic 11S Pro+.

In terms of appearance, the Red Magic 11S Pro+ is basically the same as the previous Red Magic 11 Pro series, still featuring a highly recognizable transparent body design, and is equipped with both air cooling and water cooling.

The water-cooling system can be seen running inside the transparent body with the naked eye, a design that remains unique in the mobile phone industry.

Jiang Chao recently published an article discussing the current state of mobile phone design and reiterated his previous view that the mobile phone industry is still too heavily influenced by Apple’s design philosophy.

Jiang Chao stated that between mediocrity and innovation, Red Magic will always choose the latter. Gamers are inherently unique, with their own aesthetics and attitudes, and phone designs must be distinctive and outstanding enough to gain their approval.

It is understood that in January of this year, Jiang Chao posted an article criticizing the design trends in the mobile phone industry, saying that many products either “copy the iPhone 17 Pro and then copy the iPhone 17 Air”, or they take the previous generation product, slightly modify the camera module and change the color, and the overall design is monotonous, and even shows a regression in aesthetics.

Regarding the Red Magic 11S Pro series, Jiang Chao stated that Red Magic will continue to break with convention and fully embrace the transparent design.

In addition, the Red Magic 11S Pro also features a nano-level embossed star trail texture, giving the transparent body a more layered feel and maximizing its overall energy.

The Geekbench 6 scores for the Red Magic 11S Pro+ have recently been released, with a maximum single-core score of 4010 and a multi-core score of 11187, making it the first Android phone in history to break the 4000 mark in single-core performance, setting a new milestone for Android performance.

The new phone will be equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra Leading Edition chip, making it the first domestically produced phone to use this chip. Compared to the standard version, its super core frequency has been increased from 4.6GHz to 4.74GHz, and the GPU frequency has also been increased to 1300MHz, further maximizing performance.
