Google added a taskbar to Android 12L. This is an exclusive feature created by Google for tablets, and ordinary mobile phones have not been adapted.

However, in the latest Android 15 Beta 4, developers discovered that Google has added a taskbar, which is not only suitable for large-screen devices, but also for ordinary candy-bar phones.

As shown in the picture, the Android 15 taskbar is located at the bottom of the screen. It can be called out by swiping up from the bottom of the display. Four applications and an app drawer button will be displayed on the taskbar.

Through the taskbar, users can more conveniently switch applications, view notifications, and perform other common operations.

In this way, users can multitask more conveniently, just like on a Windows computer. Whether browsing the web or checking instant messaging messages, they can complete the operation more easily and quickly.

Especially for devices like foldable screens, the role of the Android 15 taskbar will be more obvious.
