Apple will launch a foldable iPhone as early as next year

For Apple, it will continue to launch high-end iPhones and use high profits to offset the dilemma of declining overall sales, so the iPhone priced at more than 20,000 yuan will not be far away.
TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released a briefing predicting that Apple will release its first foldable iPhone in late 2026 or early 2027.
As for the price of this phone, it is destined not to be cheap, and Guo Mingchi expects it to be between US$2,000 and US$2,500, or even more expensive.
If this is the case, then the price of the domestic version will definitely be over 20,000 yuan.
Guo Mingchi revealed that the foldable iPhone will use a titanium alloy body and stainless steel hinges (to ensure durability and lightness), and will cancel Face ID and use a Touch ID side button to save internal space.
The new phone is said to have a 7.8-inch inner screen and a 5.5-inch outer screen, with a folded thickness of 9-9.5mm and an unfolded thickness of 4.5-4.8mm. It is also equipped with a dual-lens rear camera and a front camera.
According to Kuo, if the quality meets expectations, the device is expected to become a “must-have” thanks to Apple’s loyal user base.
