Honor 300 Ultra supports 3D ultrasonic fingerprint: worry-free unlocking with wet hands

Honor announced that Honor 300 Ultra supports 3D ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking, which can be easily unlocked with wet hands, which is rare in the same category.
It is reported that ultrasonic screen fingerprint is an emerging technology that has emerged in recent years. When the finger presses the screen, the sensor under the screen emits ultrasonic waves to the finger pressing area. When the ultrasonic waves come into contact with the “ridges” and “valleys” of the fingerprint, the degree of absorption, penetration and reflection varies, and echoes of different energies are generated and received by the sensor, thereby constructing a 3D fingerprint image.
Compared with optical fingerprints, ultrasonic fingerprint technology is safer and easier to use. Its advantages include: strong penetration, strong resistance to water stains and stains, high recognition rate, support for liveness detection, and high security.
In terms of industrial design, the standard version of the Honor 300 series uses a center-mounted hole-punch straight screen, while the high-end version uses a curved screen. The body thickness is as thin as 6.97mm, which is thinner than an environmentally friendly straw (the diameter of an environmentally friendly straw is approximately 7mm). It is available in colors such as Luyan Purple, Chaka Green, Yulong Snow and Cangshan Gray.
In terms of imaging, the Honor 300 series will be equipped with the new Yagu Light and Shadow Portrait Master. Based on the AI light and shadow portrait engine, Honor brings users a variety of portrait styles such as Yagu vivid portraits, textured portraits, classic portraits, etc.
