iQOO held an iQOO 15 e-sports performance technology communication meeting, revealing some technical details of the iQOO 15.

It is reported that iQOO 15 is the world’s first to launch the 2K Samsung Everest screen, as well as Samsung’s latest and best luminous material M14, and the world’s first 2K LEAD OLED display technology, creating a “transparent at a glance” visual experience.

According to vivo Labs’ evaluation, compared with the previous generation, the new Everest screen has a 40% higher luminous efficiency, a 44% lower power consumption, a 50% longer service life, and a 60% reduction in ghosting.

This is a technology jointly developed by Samsung Display and iQOO and launched globally for the first time. Based on LEAD technology, it successfully removed the traditional polarizing layer in the 2K screen through a revolutionary innovative photolithography process, greatly improving the screen’s light transmittance, reducing power consumption, and significantly increasing the screen’s display life.

Through a customized high-precision lithography machine, iQOO and Samsung accurately etched more than 10 million pixels on a 2K screen for the first time, and pioneered the creation of a channel from the light-emitting layer to the screen glass. This not only makes the screen display more transparent, but also extends the color gamut coverage to 1.18 times the P3 color gamut area, bringing unparalleled color performance.

Not only that, the iQOO 15’s 2K Samsung Everest screen has a manual peak brightness of 1000 nits, a full-screen peak brightness of 2600 nits, and a local peak brightness of 6000 nits.

More importantly, compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s 6.9-inch 1.5K resolution screen, the iQOO 15’s 6.85-inch 2K resolution screen consumes less power.
