OPPO Find X9 specifications revealed: 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor finally available

According to the blogger Digital Chat Station, OPPO’s flagship model Find X9 Standard Edition, which will be released in the second half of this year, will have improvements in experience.

Specifically, the OPPO Find X9 standard version has downgraded the flagship-level 3D ultrasonic fingerprint module to the standard version . This feature was only available on the X8 Ultra super cup among the OPPO Find X8 series models released last year. The remaining models including X8, X8s, X8s+, and X8 Pro are all equipped with short-focus fingerprint recognition, which has certain shortcomings in the unlocking experience.

It is reported that current flagship models generally use 3D ultrasonic fingerprint modules. Compared with short-focus fingerprint modules, ultrasonic fingerprint solutions are safer and easier to use. Their advantages include: strong penetration, strong resistance to water stains and stain interference, high recognition rate, support for liveness detection, and higher security.

In addition, OPPO Find X9 will also come standard with 50W wireless charging function and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, which is consistent with the previous generation.

However, the lens’s sensor is expected to use a newer CMOS, resulting in better imaging performance.
